Shamila Abrahams, the founder of Naturally Bananas, started experimenting with natural formulations over 15 years ago, long before the market was saturated. What started as a personal journey grew into a mission when she saw how exploitative the beauty industry could be.
Naturally Bananas was then founded on the belief that businesses should be a force for good. Shamila was “bananas” enough to create a business that puts people before profit, proving that skincare can be both nourishing and socially transformative.
In 2021, Naturally Bananas launched publicly, and was officially registered in 2024.
